Migraines

I had migraines 3-4 times a week. Each migraine required an Imitrex injection. I had no social life because I was “sick” every weekend or on my days off I had to rest and sleep just so I could be sure to make it to work. I couldn’t plan a weekend or vacation for fear of the dreaded migraine. I never had children because as a younger adult my migraines were too frequent and violent. Being plagued all my life with disabling migraines severely affected my ability to be a good wife.

Now, I can go weeks without a hint of a migraine. No more severe migraines. No more nausea and vomiting and No more medication. I repeat, I no longer take any medication. If upper cervical adjustment and nervous system monitoring had been available to me in my youth my life would’ve turned out so much differently.

I used to have migraine headaches that would make me stay in bed all day. Now I am not so afraid of having a migraine because they are not so severe, frequent or intense.
