Shawn H. Dill, D.C.
Dr. Dill graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in 1995. While a student, Dr. Dill served as the President of the Student International Chiropractors Association and as a member of Delta Sigma Chi, International Fraternity of Straight Chiropractic.
Dr. Dill has received formal training in Upper Cervical Specific from the Kale Network and the International Upper Cervical Chiropractic Association, having received certification status from both organizations.
Upon graduation, Dr. Dill ventured to the country of Costa Rica where he founded Quiropractica Mundial (Worldwide Chiropractic, Inc.). Quiropractica Mundial operated four chiropractic clinics, employing 6 Doctors of Chiropractic and 2 Medical Doctors. It is estimated that Quiropractica Mundial operated the largest Upper Cervical Chiropractic Clinic in the world.
Dr. Dill was also instrumental in the elaboration of the chiropractic law in Costa Rica. As such, Dr. Dill was the only chiropractor called to testify before the Congress of Costa Rica on behalf of the law. Dr. Dill's international experience has also led to him giving presentations on chiropractic in Mexico, El Salvador, Italy and Spain.
Currently, Dr. Dill is a faculty member at Life Chiropractic College West and serves as the Director of the Institute for Advanced Care in Chiropractic at the college. He also heads the El Salvador Outreach Program through which he coordinates a yearly trip to the country of El Salvador with 60 chiropractors and chiropractic interns to provide chiropractic care to the people of El Salvador.
Dr. Dill's latest chiropractic venture is The Specific Chiropractic Center, in partnership with Dr. Paige Van Slooten, one of the most technologically advanced chiropractic centers in the United States, and designed to serve the most challenging of cases that may not have responded to traditional medical or chiropractic approaches.

Dr. Van Slooten graduated from Life Chiropractic College West in 2005. Post-graduation she received specialized training to become one of only a handful of chiropractors nationwide certified in providing upper cervical specific care by the International Upper Cervical Chiropractic Association (IUCCA).
Dr. Van Slooten has served on three chiropractic mission trips to the country of El Salvador, where she served the people with chiropractic care and helped share the chiropractic message. While abroad, she adjusted thousands of individuals including children, elderly, and the disabled ranging from newborns to patients nearing 100 years of age.
Dr. Van Slooten is committed to excellence and continually strives to maximize her chiropractic expertise. This commitment is exemplified by her achievements to date. Upon graduation from Life Chiropractic College West, Dr. Van Slooten was honored with the school's highest honors. These included the honor as Valedictorian of her graduating class with a 4.0 GPA as well as the Clinical Excellence Award which is the highest honor in delivering quality patient care as a chiropractic intern. While in school, she also served as Student Body President and received numerous awards including the Student of the Year award.
Prior to her pursuit of chiropractic, Dr. Van Slooten's commitment to excellence was witnessed at Westmont College in Santa Barbara, where she completed her undergraduate degree. She received numerous awards for academic and athletic excellence including the Dean's Award at graduation and The Golden Eagle Award as a two-time recipient. Other honors include: Magna Cum Laude, Phi Kappa Phi Honor's Society, and three-year captain of the women's tennis team at Westmont College.
Dr. Van Slooten, who in the office goes by "Dr. Paige", is a passionate, caring and committed doctor. Having received additional training in chiropractic pediatrics, she loves providing chiropractic care to children and newborns. She has 11 nieces and nephews which have helped inspire her passion to care for children. Her vision entails helping the most complex cases find health and true healing while teaching the value of care early on in life to give the best chance of optimal health.
